Fiber Arts Fiesta - Traditional Quilts

Come with me, I'll take you on a tour of the Albuquerque Fiber Arts Fiesta. Today, let's stroll through the traditional section.

Large Traditional


Sunflowers by Lori Box, an adaptation of a Bea Mansanarez pattern, took home the top prize in the large traditional category.

Second place went to Kathy Sublett's Star Sampler, an adaptation of a pattern by Pam Bono.

Third Place was hand appliquéd, hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted with reproduction 1930's fabrics.

Combining 5" and 10" Twister block sizes and blocks that dissolve into the border are great elements within the Judge's Choice winner, Twisted Blues by Louise Madore.

Baltimore Blues in Red was awarded first place.
